South Australian artists Melanie Koolmatrie and Janice Stanley; East Kimberley artists Susan Peters Wangamirr Nampitjin and Janet Dreamer and Arnhem Land artist Muluymuluy Wirrpanda represent their Country in distinctive ways - united by compelling interpretations of the rivers, lakes, salt pans, wetlands, waterways and plants which shape their ancestral landscapes. 

Their paintings speak of memories, identity, Country and enduring cultural connections, inviting us to see water not simply as landscape but as a living repository of stories and knowledge.
