I've been thinking about the secret waterfall in McCrae, behind Anthony's Nose, maybe it wasn't so much of a secret, but it was tucked away and there were no signs saying Waterfall, or secret waterfall, for that matter. I think I was 13 years old when I first saw it, thanks to Abra.
But that secret waterfall is gone. It's not there anymore. Houses were built. Years and years later, some had slid down the hill.
Karina Armstrong is an artist who works in printmaking and painting, based in Balnarring, on Bunurong/Boon Warring Land.
