This artwork features mungari - food. Scattered across the page are the traditional foods of Patsy's family, seeds and fruits found in the desert. There is also the playful addition of one of Patsy's favourite foods - watermelon! Patsy says - we don't eat only traditional food now, we eat both the old food and new ones. We are creating new ways.
We acknowledge the Traditional Bunurong Owners and Custodians of the lands, waters and seas on which we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded.
