This work by Churchill Cann moves across Country in time and place; the folds and fragility that characterise the visual language of this work are as much about geography as they are about personal memory and the Ngarrangarni (Dreaming). Here Churchill tells the story of a snake that can be sung to cause death, interwoven with memories of his time working this Country as a stockman under conditions akin to indentured labour.
