This is the story for the Emu Man from Kanpi, Kalya Tjukurpa. There is mai parka-parka bush foods that the emus love to eat hanging from the tree. All the emu chicks are sitting in a circle eating kampurarpa. Kanpi rockhole is flowing and all the creeks are running. The Emus sit inside the windbreak. There is one wanampi (serpent man) at Kanpi rockhole. He vomited and ate grass to feel better. There are dancing lines where the emus have been preforming inma (sacred dancing).
I have learned this from my grandfather Jimmy Baker, who took me all around this country when I was a child and tought me the Tjukurpa (Aboriginal law). Tjukurpa mulapa (this law is true).
