Although our Seasons in the Far North are simply known as the “Dry or the Wet”, living in the Tropics for over 30 years, I notice many subtle changes during the 12 months of the year. I have become aware, that the traditional owners of our region also refer to either 5 or 7 different seasonal changes in one year. The January - December paintings show the variations and nuances concerning seasonal changes during the year.
We acknowledge the Traditional Bunurong Owners and Custodians of the lands, waters and seas on which we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded.
