As told by Susan: When I was little I used to go hunting with the elders, we would hunt for fish, crab, yam, and mud mussels any bush tucker that was available, or we used to go out in our boats to look for turtle which we would spear and take it back to camp and cook in the coals. This painting depicts the dugongs (mantuwunjiri) and turtles (jarrakalani) we would hunt.
