My Country Jigalong. I learned to paint in Warralong. In Warralong still painting. Me and my old lady. She was talking, painting with that old lady; Nora Chapman, Doreen Chapman, May Chapman. They was all still painting. I was doing painting in Cotton Creek with my brother, good painting, old people and all.
I was born in Hedland at the old hospital. My brother born in the desert long time (ago), in Cotton Creek. When I was a young girl in Jigalong I was playing round. Go to school in Marble Bar. Schooling, play round, go to Marble Bar pool for swimming. Too hot! I went to Nullagine School too. I been grow up there- went to school every day. I been living in hostel- Marble Bar Hostel. I been come to Port Hedland with my father and mother, wajirra (cousin). That's Yandeyarra side. My father was there. My sister, he was born in was in Derby. And that's it.
That's a rockhole where I went swimming in Marble Bar pool. But the water is dry. Dry place now in Marble Bar Brook.
