Born 1966

Language Yankunytjatjara

Birthplace Amata

Beverly is a proud Yankunytjatjara woman living in Mimili Community. Beverly is a highly regarded cultural authority on Yankunytjatjara Wapar (songlines) in the area between Mimili and the neighbouring community of Indulkana.

Whilst she has only recently started her painting practice alongside her sister Puna Yanima, she has become an essential part of Mimili Maku Arts and our board of directors.

Beverly paints the country between Mimili and Indulkana, the vibrant diversity of trees, wildflowers and food sources celebrated in bold colours and intricate detail.
