This cat called Mort was created by Charles just before he died in 2018. It is an image from his illustrations to the first Australian edition of Mark Twain's book 'A Cat-Tale' (Ashton Scholastic, 1987). The illustrations were also inspired by the Andrew Lloyd-Webber's musical 'Cats', itself inspired by poet T.S Eliot's 1930s book 'Old Possum's Book of Cats'.

This is the original print (of a subsequent edition of 30) and is signed by the artist.
