Charles Blackman
15 3/4 x 15 3/8 in
In 1985 Charles travelled to europe to visit his daughter Christabel who was studying Painting Restoration in Florence. Together they went on a trip to Paris and to visit the gothic cathedrals of the surrounding area. They were there for over a month which gave plentiful time to visiting favourite galleries, chapels, gardens and restaurants, as they had lived in Paris as a family in 1970-71. Drawing is a shared love between the father and daughter, so there were plenty of moments to become absorbed in doing just that. This drawing is from one of their favourite gardens in Paris.
