Melbourne artist Eleanor Millard is known for her haunting imagery of rural Victoria. The ethereal landscapes and scenes from the Shipwreck Coast are assembled from fragments of the artist’s memories. Millard’s feel for texture is evident, in her use of crushed blacks and blue-green washes to produce subtle contrasts and tones creating a unique dialogue in her colour palette.
