These works are about using patterns of ownership. I am trying to connect to the story of the Bass Strait islands as a focal point and pivot point for my culture connection. I have used the texture on the back of my hand and foam at Gunnamatta beach, these are printed and overlapped and echoed in unique state prints. The outline of Furneaux Group of islands and the N.E. edge of Tasmania asserts its self in the textural tide. The coolamon shape is about a place of nurture and shield like protection.
