Lulu Teece Apetyarr was born at Aketh-aketh. She has one brother, Pompy and three sisters, all well known artists. “My father’s country is Ampilatwatja and my mother comes from Antarrengeny. I paint because I enjoy painting and to make money. The thing I like to paint most is bush medicine seeds, (Inteng-Inteng) and landscapes. In my spare time I like to go hunting for sugar bag and digging for Yerramp (honey ant.) My plan for the future is to keep looking after my grandkids”.
