Born in 1973 Janet Golder Kngwarreye is a mid generation artist of the Utopia region. Here she celebrates the stories of her father's country by depicting a number of the sites relating the ancestral creation stories of her father as well as the rock holes, underground springs, mountain and rock formations of the country. These are meticulously recorded from memory and often depicted from an aerial perspective.
