Matilda Oxtoby was born in 1962. She is an emerging arti︎st who paints with Kira Kiro Art Centre, Kalumburu. Inspired by her sister Sylvia Djanghara, and well known arti︎st and uncle Waigan Djanghara. Mati︎lda paints local rock art themes such as the Wandjina and those of local flora and fauna that inhabit the river and pristi︎ne coastline of the Kalumburu surrounds.
