Samantha Allies Wungundin is an emerging artist at Mowanjum Art and Culture Centre. In 2014 Samantha won the Kimberly Art Prize, Emerging Artist Award, for her carved boab nut, 'Wandjina Dreaming.' 

Recently Samantha has enjoyed learning colour mixing and curatorial practice. Samantha comes from a family of artists including her mother, Nancy Wungundin, and sister, Tanisha Allies Wungundin.  

She worked in recent years for the art centre as arts worker but took a few years of break. She is now back with the art centre.
